YOGA & MOVEMENT GURU April-Lee April-lee has been travelling the world for the past eight years, in the pursuit of self-expansion, learning and understanding. She has been a student of yoga for eight years and has had the privilege to study with many great teachers and different schools of thought. Some of these schools and teachers include studying Ashtanga at Pattabhi Jois’ ashram in India, staying in Yogi Kino’s home in Mysore, studying at ManTak Chia’s school in Thailand, and most recently completing a six-month internship with world-renowned mover and martial artist Cameron Shayne and his wife Melayne Shayne at the Budokon Academy in Miami, USA. She has taught around the globe in a variety of countries and has taught professional big wave surfers and pro MMA fighters. April-lee’s drive is to become the best version of herself and live a life of adventure, loving and learning, and help inspire, uplift and encourage others to break free and do the same. Using movement and self-exploration as medicine, her passion is to get people out of their heads and reconnect you back into your bodies and hearts. Qualified as a vinyasa/hatha style yoga teacher, Group fitness instructor and holistic health, lifestyle and wellness coach, Ceri is all about sharing her love for all things health, so that we can all heal and flourish.
